I have such fond memories of Nancy , one in particular Shane , was when The Attridge Irish Dance Group visited Edinburgh , your Dad drove the bus and we all stayed on a camp site!!! I still have an image of your mom emerging from their tent early in the morning, her biggest worry was where they could find a decent " cup of tea" !!!! Happy memories......a legend of a woman. Sincere condolences to Shane,Brian,Aileen, Kay and extended family on the passing of your beloved mother. Many happy memories of Nancy but one in particular that I recall with extreme fondness. I was picking up Shane one Saturday afternoon after both of us had finished work on route to Ennis for the fleadh ceol. I had finished a huge dinner before I left home. On reaching Shane's house I was met by Nancy who insisted I call in for a cup of tea. In I went and was met with a huge fry and No was not in Nancy's vocabulary. She made me eat it all. What a laugh I had with Shane on the way up afterwards. A lovely lady with a beaming smile. May she RIP

She was selfless in her kindness and care of others , be it at the local Day care centre or as a helper with the annual Cork & Ross Diocesan Lourdes Pilgrimage . You , her family were very important to her as she was to you . Senior years brought ill health & restriction but Nancy still retained great spirit, enjoying family holidays and with your support continued to live in her own home. May you know comfort , strength, hope and all the graces needed at this time and in the time ahead .

Mrs Hennessy can only be described as a lady somebody who was generous,kind and always had a smile on her face.
