Sincere sympathy is extended to the family of dear Nanette may she rest in peace. I have very fond memories of Sligo Musical Society production of "The Pirates of Penzance" at the Hawks well theatre in 1983 and Ballyshannon Musical Society "The Sound of Music" also in 1983 where she played Mother Abbess and her magnificent voice singing "Climb every mountain". I played Maria and had such a wonderful time, Nanette was so kind and a true artiste. I will remember her and all of you in my prayers.
Eternal rest to Nanette Ivers, a most friendly and welcoming woman, even to a stranger, Have never forgotton her singing at our wedding in 1963 and the lovely meetings over the years. Our heartfelt condolences to all the family for the loss of a wonderful mother. We shall remember Nanette and her late husband Jim at our Masses in future.
