Very sorry to hear of Natalya Yurievna’s passing. For that is how I called her everyday, as my Russian teacher, in Saratov in 1997-1998. Through her extraordinary pedagogical abilities she played a formative role in my love of the language and in particular the idioms she shared, to be used just at the right moments. A vivacious, fun loving and passionate teacher. Ní fheicfimid a leithéid arís.
My sincere condolences to Natasha's family, friends, and colleagues. I was very sorry to hear of her death. Natasha was my Russian teacher when I was an undergrad at Trinity. I remember her for her kindness, cheerful nature, and patience. Her love of Russian culture was infectious. May she rest in peace.
Светлая память. Наташа была незабываемой преподавательницей. Она очень много заботилась о своих студентах, и нас поощрила как можно больше выразить себя на русском языке, в то же время обогащая наше понимание русской культуры, особенно поэзии. Искренние соболезнования её родным и близким, в том числе её коллегам на кафедре.
Ar dheis De go raibh a hanam. I attended her Russian night classes in Trinity for many years. She was great for promoting the language and culture and helped me out frequently when I struggled with various points of grammar. May she rest in peace.
Saddened by Natalia's untimely death. I was a student of hers in Trinity and appreciated her boundless energy and how she promoted Russian culture, language and literature so well. She also took time to see me in Moscow when I attended a Russian course in the Puskin Institute. May Natalia rest in peace.
