Sympathies to Marty and family. Uncle Ned was a gentle soul who always took an interest in his family. I remember him taking me out to 'run the dogs' and to the track on an occasion when I was a kid. I also remember one time him filling up my car with petrol when I was visiting. Lovely memories. RIP Uncle Ned

He was a great person, a truly wonderful support to our parents in difficult times, a great card player who never complained when Mary beat his knave with her five and a great supporter of Kilkenny Kilkenny hurling.
