So sad to hear of Mr. Ned's passing. Deepest condolences to all his family and friends. He greeted us on our trip to Ireland and spent time with him at the merchant. His talent on the accordion and stories shared and of course the late night after parties were amazing. His kind caring and friendly way made us feel at home in Ireland . A gentleman with huge heart. He touched our lives and will be dearly missed. Love and hugs from your Newfoundland friends Irene Anita Nancy Byrne
I too had the great pleasure meeting the "cousin" and sharing many, many memorable times "at home" and here in the states from New Orleans, Atlanta, Baltimore and points beyond. I will miss my pal and close my eyes and can hear him doing his piece, Watermelon Wine . He was the most generous, fun loving (sleep is a waste of time) Kerry Man and Irish Man that will make Heaven a better place. God rest ye Ned Shea !! RIP

You couldn't meet a nice and more caring person then Ned O'Shea. He has been a dear friend to me for almost 25 years. When I first arrived in Ireland in the early 90's and knew no one he was always so gracious and friendly. I will miss his singing and playing of the box and especially Ned, the person, as I know so many will. He was an amazing person and someone everyone should have know. RIP
