Even from the other side of the world, you managed to make our lives better and never failing to make us laugh. You saw this world for what it was, a giant mess... but a hilarious one. One that you managed to seize as hard as you can, all the while getting as much comedic material to use on the people around you. I wish time had been kinder. I wanted to meet you as an adult one day, to sit down and sink some cold ones with you while having a yarn over some stories in a small Irish pub. However, it seems time had other plans.
Thank you Neil, for making my life, the lives of my family, and the lives of everyone around you better and brighter. Everyone was lucky to have you in their life, and we will never forget you. Rest easy.

Wow! Like many I'm shattered. Through a great childhood, your travels and your troubles you touched a large number of others who clearly remember your fun and caring nature. That is uplifting in the grief. Alan and I (and quite a few cousins) will fondly remember our antics growing up - fishing, fire-starting, riotous football games, smashed glass doors and homeware, wrestling, poking and goading. At various stages of my life you were my nipper, my tagalong, my companion, my fellow felon and the source of so much laughter and barking-mad conversation I can't begin to describe. In the early days I promised you I'd always look out for you and I hope I lived up to that. Sadly, you never did make it to Aus and Lara, Nathan, Toby, Zac, Tills and Peaches will miss your arrival dressed as Rambo after you watched too many Aus wildlife and Missing in Outback boxsets.

My beautiful funny kind brother in law Neil what can I say that can express my devastation at losing you so soon. Your name for me was sis always said with such love and affection , making me laugh so much at some of the saddest times in life .
My boys, your nephews Zac , Toby and Nathan grew up loving their cool funny Uncle Neil - your jokes were endless , we always spoke about you to them ,we are so sad you didn't get to spend time with us here in Australia- how you would have loved the snakes, sharks and ..the beer . Underneath the humour and outward bravado though was a sensitive soul , at times life was hard to you but you were never afraid to tell us how much you loved us all, just like we loved you .
My heart is broken for Bryn , Alan , your family and friends , all of us who loved you and got the privilege of being part of your life .

We were all lucky to get to know Neil over past few years when he frequented the Pub. A Welshman true and true who loved his Rugby. Neil also played darts with us and we got to know his sense of humour. A great man for his jokes and storytelling. Taken way before his time. Sympathy & Condolonces to his friends & family.
