My sincerest condolences to all of Neil's friends and family. We had such craic, fun and laughter during his time working in WRTC/WIT. May he now be reunited with Carlos. Rest in peace "Flaherty".

Stunned to learn of Neil’s death in Dunmore East. The last time we met he was still living in the US. A flamboyant, colourful, hospitable man. Remembering the craic we had in WIT in the 1980s. At Dheis De. Sympathies.

So sorry to hear of Neil’s death. He was my French lecturer in WRTC from 1986 - 1989. A fantastic teacher and a beautiful French speaker who didn’t suffer fools gladly!!! He was one of a kind and I often remember him fondly. RIP.
