I have very fond memories of Neil - or 'Nelter' - as we fondly called him going back to our days in St. Michael's. One in particular stands out. We both brought hurleys into school and began belting the ball to one another on one of the rugby pitches. To our classmates, raised on a diet of rugby and soccer, I think we looked like some kind of novelty act!. Rest in peace, Neil. The warm tributes already paid to you are richly deserved and may your family be comforted in their great loss.

Even stayed open late to facilitate us. As he said himself, that’s what we do, help each other.
