Dear Gráinne,

It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of your incredible aunt, Nell.

Nell was a beloved neighbour to Cuán and I. She was a truly wonderful person, and I always cherished our get-togethers filled with tea and conversation. Her stories were captivating, reflecting a life rich with experience and warmth.

She had such a genuine interest in Cuán and was always so generous and kind to him. Her thoughtful nature and gentle spirit made her a joy to be around.

We miss her deeply—not only as a neighbour but as a dear friend. Please accept our heartfelt condolences. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

My Aunty Nell was an intelligent, remarkable woman. Her drive, independence & determination was an inspiration to me & I am sure to many others.

My mum Bessie absolutely loved her little sister and despite the distance between Ireland & Australia they made the most every opportunity they could to spend time to be together.

We are so deeply saddened to hear of Nellie's passing.
We cherish the wonderful memories of her visits with John and Paul during their school summer holidays in Carrickmacross, where we spent such special times with our aunt Bridie Clarke, Nellie's dearest lifelong friend.
It meant so much to us that Nellie continued the tradition of sending Christmas cards to us after Bridie's passing ,keeping that bond of friendship and family alive.
She will be remembered with warmth and love.
