Niall and I were very good friends. We had many long conversations that lasted well into the day and night. I lost my hearing as a child and we understood loss...hearing loss even though it was different with us both. But,we clicked as friends.Niall was a gentleman. He was very deep,very funny and could also be serious. He loved his family and had great respect for his mother.I learnt so much from Niall. He was a special person. Thank you for been my friend Niall. Thank you for listening to me and all the wise advice you gave me. I hope I helped you also and that I was a good friend also. I knew him all my life and he was a kind and decent man who took on the challenges and travails that life threw at him with typical determination and tenacity, qualities which served him well as he journeyed through adulthood and forged a good life for himself. The suddenness of his death leaves a gaping hole in the community but rest assured he left an indelible mark on all who knew and respected him. May he rest in peace.
