Niall was a pure gent. One in a million. He helped me so much. Everyone I know that knew Niall loved him and spoke about him with respect and admiration. My thoughts are with his wife Eleanor which he adored and his 3 girls which he spoke about all the time. All he wanted to do was make everything right with his family. He will be missed . RIP Niall.

I was so so sad when I heard this. The final line in the film Stand by Me is in my head today “I’ve never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was 12.” I was lucky to have known Glenno growing up and he was always just great fun to be around, and even if you hadn’t seen him for years and bumped into him he’d be as warm as ever and you’d still have the same craic.
