Niall Griffith

Growing up in Cabinteely meant that I essentially grew up with Niall. He’d always stop to chat with me and my father and remember the tiniest of details. My dad would lovingly call him his best friend. He’d always compliment my outfits and call me a rockstar. When we moved out of Cabinteely my biggest sadness was in the fact I was never able to say goodbye to him. He always managed to be the highlight of my day. Niall, wherever you are now I hope you’re still rocking and rolling.

Sorry to hear of Niall’s recent passing. He had such a kind soul, and always good for a chat when I bumped into him over the years. Rest in Peace Niall xo

My condolences to family and friends on the loss of Niall. I had a brief, pleasant encounter with Niall some months ago and he was on my mind. I was saddened to hear of his passing but I have no doubt that he has found his deserved peaceful place in Heaven

I got the honor to know Niall since i moved in cabinteely 8 years ago .

he was always in such a great humour and chatty and so lovely to my kids . i will deeply miss his "Hi Love" and "hello Kiddos". Rest in peace Niall .

We lived on prospect lawn and would chat to Niall nearly daily. He famously (in our family) christened our new baby Elvis. Niall would always make time to check in on “Elvis” and get a smile. I was so sorry to hear of his passing, a true gentleman in every sense of the word.

He will be greatly missed in the Cabinteely area.

i was very sorry to hear of nialls passing you could time his routine daily i was an early walker with my dog along the river ,he always said hello even if it was a dull /spitty rainy morning .my girls even said the other week i dont see niall out walking

I am very sorry to hear of Niall’s passing. I hadn’t see him in many years but have fond memories of playing in a band together with another dearly departed friend Mark Cautley. No doubt they are getting the band back together as I write. Rock in Peace Niall.

With much sympathy & condolences to all the Griffith family & friends, remembering Niall from the latter end of school days, connecting over a mutual love of the Rolling Stones & playing guitar, he was a free spirit, different, creative, imaginative, making sketches, writing his own music with lyrics & he could certainly flail a telecaster in a way that would have raised even Keith Richard’s eyebrows, rest in peace “Street Fighting Man”, the opening chords always remind me of you.

We were deeply saddened to hear that Niall had died and send our condolences to his brothers Eamonn, John, Pearse, Conor and Paul. I knew Niall all his life and remember the fair haired, blue eyed boy with deep affection. How I will miss your great hugs and chats whenever we met up over the years. And that smile that lit up the room. Til we meet again peace perfect peace Niall.

Niall and I had some great adventures together in Ireland and abroad. I’m sad to hear of his death, he was a good friend and very creative artistically.
