I was asking about Niall at show when his NSU mates told me the sad news.Nial was in my Motor Engineering class in Bolton St a kind helpful gentleman . May he rest in peace.

Met Niall through the NSU motor club. He drove a beautiful RO80 the same colour blue as mine but mine was not so beautiful. He must have taken pity on me as he offered to come down here to Bailieborough Co Cavan and on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon did so and got my car up and running. He was so patient. Furthermore he refused point blank to take any money at all. A real gentle gentleman, never to be forgotten.

Nuala,Sara and Emma I’m so sorry to hear the passing of Niall. Niall was such a fantastic man with a smile that would light up a room. I’ve very fond memories of Niall when he would drop me home after spending the day with Emma. Niall and Emma would be singing their hearts away to Christy Moore. Niall was the definition of a gentleman. He would go out of his way for anyone. He came to look at so many cars with my dad for me and no matter how many times he tried to steer me away from Audis and minis I would still ask him to have a look and he would just give me the biggest smile and laugh. Niall will always be looking over you all. My heart is broken for you all. My deepest condolences, Sending you all my love and prayers during this difficult time. Rest in peace Niall.

Niall was a great source of info for me when I started in Linde, a kind and patient man, always willing to help. A real gentle giant, always glad to have a catchup when we met after I had left the workshop. My condolences to his family and friends, who he mentioned often.

Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, he was always ready to help out anyone in need. He loved his classic cars and his lovely family, and I always enjoyed working with him.

I will never forget your kindness when on Christmas Eve night, you didn't even think twice of leaving your family to cross the city to assemble Santa's shed for my three smallies - nor did you think twice about taking another long trek a few years later to advise on the purchase of a car. Your respect for women and mothers always blew me away and I can't even bare to think about the unfathomable loss you are to your adored Nuala, Emma, Sara and extended family.
