Dear Joanne & Family, so sad to hear that your beloved Niall has passed away! We grieve with you and feel your pain. I have known Niall since my childhood on Fairways. He always had a smile and a laugh and a friendly face. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers during this very painful time. May he rest in the arms of the angels in eternal happiness and the comfort of heaven.

Well limmer was at funeral and today months mind you got a beautiful send off. I wish it wasn't so soon will/do miss your smile your laughter your wit your friendship. You wonce told me you never made any one cry. I think that's a first in management. You always called me quinncat that is how long be had been friends the old systems in Ipswich. So sad to hear the news of Niall's passing. I've very fond memories of the Limmer from my day's in the Permanent and particularly the Business Houses Football games. He was always bright and cheerful with that brilliant infectious grin. May you rest in peace lad !

Sincere condolences to Joanne, Katie, Hannah, David and all Niall's family and friends. Over the past twelve years I marveled at how Niall maintained such a positive outlook in the face of so many setbacks. Each time he relayed bad news with such optimism, I used to ask him how he did it and how he managed to keep going (because I know that I wouldn't have coped so well). His answer was simple, "what else can I do? I can't give up". I guess he had enough positive energy for all of us. He will be sadly missed. All we can do is console ourselves that we were blessed to know him and will always have such great memories of him.

My memories of Limmer was when he joined Terenure College as a pupil coming in directly from Limerick. Always great fun particularly on the sports pitches. He was full of fun and lokes. I was delighted to team up with him again at the mini rugby coaching our David's in Lakelands still smiling and joking. Limmer was always full of the joys of life. I don't think I ever heard him complain about his illness which I know he fought against long and hard, a brave fight from a very brave man RIP Limmer
