Sincere condolonces to orla, jessica, and the extended mccarthy family. I started in ccoc around the same time as niall. He proved to be a great work colleague. But also a keen interest in cycling , and we had great chats about pro cycling and the doping etc. But more than that a great trsde union rep and dealt with staff querie in a very discreet manner. Rest in peace niall.

I remember racing against Niall from the early 90’s to early 2000’s. He was an absolute class bike rider in his prime. We raced the Ras bike race as part of a Cork team in the year 2000 and a stand out memory was what great company and craic Niall was.
