I only ever knew Niall as Mac, the brilliant, generous, funny and inspirational friend and colleague.
When we worked together, Dave R would dream up some mad idea and if Mac couldn't think of an immediate reason why it was against the laws of physics, he would simply say 'let me play with it' and he would make it happen. His brilliance was only eclipsed by his knowledge of blockbuster movie development.
Mac left a deep impression and he will be missed.
