My Sincere condolences to Niall's family, I worked with him many years ago. A pleasure to be around, he will be missed. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

He was always cheerful and friendly and always said hello.I remember him as a lad in Portrun and then as an adult in his work in Tidy Towns in Roscommon.

I shared a house in Galway with Niall many moons ago and he was a lovely guy. Met him many times in Roscommon too, may he Rest in Peace and may I offer my sincerest condolences to his Mother and family.

Mary I am at a loss for words to describe the shock at Niall's untimely passing. My thoughts, prayers and best wishes are with you and your girls - Clodagh and Sile at this heart-breaking time. Niall was an exemplary human being with kindness and generosity for all he met on his daily constitutionals. He always joked that he should get a job as a tour guide he knew our town so well and was known by all. I personally will miss him greatly and our chats to catch up with all the local news. May Angels gather him into their bosom and carry him to a better place and the rest and peace of the gentle fall upon him. R.I.P.

Very sad to hear of Niall's passing, he was a lovely fella. Always used to see him around Roscommon, would have a big friendly wave or chat. He was like an item of furniture around Roscommon Town, it will be odd not seeing him, he is a loss to his family and the town. May he rest in peace and sympathies to Mary, Síle and Clodagh
