It is with great sadness to have learned of the passing of Niall Mulvihill, He put up the “Good Fight” for a long time and finally gave in with great dignity and respect. We offer our sincere and deepest sympathy to his wife Bernadine, son Des, daughter Deirbhle, son-in- law David, and daughter in law Katie, granddaughter Méabh- Norma, Nialls brothers and sisters and to the extended Mulvihill, Shine and Dunning Families at home and abroad.
Remembering Niall as a man of great integrity and respect, who brought a great welcome and smile to all who met him on his life’s journey, our many conversations over the years reflected his great love and respect for his family, and his work ethic and commitment to their home and welfare. Building his holiday and weekend home with Bernadine in Drumlosh was a great pride for Niall.
While Niall was forever a progressive man always wanting to improve and progress, he never forgot his Coosan Roots. Niall had a great affinity for his Coosan / Mulvihill ancestry and particularly for Paul Sleator and his Sleator cousins in “the Big Hill” Coosan, where he never failed to visit and “have the Tea” during his regular visits . Niall in recent times was fascinated to be shown the memory tree planted by his grand Aunt Kate ( Mulvihill) Concannon to honour his father Paddy Mulvihill’s first day in Coosan School now circa 100 yr’s old.
