I feel very fortunate to have been able to call Nobby one of my best friends and to have shared so many great memories with him.

I will deeply treasure all of our memories from school, on holidays and at the gym. He was such an inspiration to all with his drive and entrepreneurial mindset. Nobby maintained such a positive attitude throughout his illness despite many setbacks, always greeting me with a smile on any visit. His exceptionally positive attitude was truly moving and made his struggles a little easier on those around him. Nobby was a wealth of wisdom and someone I would always turn to when in need of advice, he is irreplaceable, and we will all miss him terribly.

Nobby was one of my closest friends throughout school, college and everything after. He was the definition of hard-work and no night out could stop him doing his deliveries. Despite this he always found time to squeeze in a holiday or a festival to go to. I've shared nothing but great memories with Niall and I'll always look back on them thinking about the great times we had together like chilling in the gym carpark before a workout or getting lost at a festival together and going on our own lil adventure.

He had a great sense of humour and anyone that had the pleasure of being in his company always had a great word to say about him. We was always very caring and considerate towards others & a man we can take a lot of inspiration from.

I remember when I first found out about the news, I never felt like we were never going to see him again, but that we'll all see him in the next one. Rest in peace Nobby.

Nobby was a great man. I am lucky to be able to call him my friend and share so many great memories with him. From his immense drive, work ethic and commitment to bettering himself, he taught me many valuable lessons but what stands out and will remain with me forever is his unwavering attitude towards embracing and enjoying life. I will always remember him with a laughing smile on his face.

He achieved so much in his short life and will remain a great inspiration for me and many others who were lucky enough to have crossed paths with him.

I wish his family and loved ones the strength and comfort to get through this difficult time.

It is difficult to express just how deeply sorry am I for your loss. Niall was a wonderful person - fun, happy and intelligent. I cherish the many great memories I have with him, from our getaway trips, evenings at the pub, cooking food together and to simply enjoying each other’s company. He was always a joy to be around and no amount of time spent with him could ever be enough for me.

I know that his loss leaves such a profound gap in so many lives. I hope that you may find some comfort in the memories you share with him.

My heart is broken for him and for you all. May he rest in peace.

I feel lucky to be able to call Nobby one of my best friends and was blessed to have experienced so many of the best moments of my life with him.

From climbing carrantuohil, to going to Thailand, brataslava, Barcelona, Amsterdam with some of these to on very short notice. My friends and I could always count on Nobby’s spontaneous, adventurous and love of the craic whenever we did anything. We have lost an amazing person but someone I look forward to meeting again.

Niall was a great friend of mine who I had many great times with. An ever brightening presence that always carried a smile.
Me and Niall got closer over the last five years as we discussed all things cars, business and gym. Niall would often offer me advice and always had the time to mentor me in business which he was a natural at.
He was always generous with his time even offering my sister advice in regards to property market. Which when I asked him would he mind helping her, he simply replied “ye sure tell her to message me and I’ll help her with anything”.

I always referred to Niall to my friends and family as being an “impressive human”. A person of dedication, love, patience, passion and care he was always someone I greatly admired and I know he is looking down on both family and friends with all the love he had shown in life.

My prayers are with you and your family.

I feel fortunate to have known Nobby and to have shared memorable experiences with him during our time at UCD and beyond. I learned a lot from him and greatly valued our time together.

I’ve known Nobby for over a decade now. In that time of knowing him, I think there was very rarely a time I seen him without a big smile on his face. I don’t think that is something I can say about many people considering the world we live in today.. but Nobby never let anything affect him or throw him off his positive journey through life.

He was an incredible human being who achieved so much in all areas of life in such a short time. He was an inspiration and massive motivation to myself and many of his friends which will allow him to live on in our own journeys through life.

There won’t be a day he doesn’t cross my mind, whether it’s when I see vintage car or see the sun break through the clouds. He’ll be right there with us.

Moya & Bob my heart aches for what you must be going through but hopefully the happy memories & positives Niall brought into this world can make that a little easier.

Nobby, the hardest working individual I have ever met. Anything you decided to do would always get done no matter what - a rare trait these days. You inspired all of us to be a better version of ourselves, and I don’t say that lightly. I’ll always cherish the endless hours we spent in each other’s cars before the gym and applied maths, and will carry those memories with me for life. It is a real shame I didn’t get to see you as much as I would have liked to since moving to London.

Nobby was my friend from 1st year in secondary school and we have so many great memories together that I will never forget. Drinking together for the first time, countless trips away together, going to the gym together and going on hikes together. I learned so much from him over the years and he will always have a place in my heart.

Unfortunately my first meeting with Niall was when he arrived into our services . However he was such a good humoured , funny , pragmatic lad that we hit it off straight away despite all he was dealing with .
Not only me but our entire staff formed a very strong bond with him . His loss has greatly affected myself and I can also speak for my nursing colleagues and all the staff of The Maguire Ward .
It was a pleasure to have cared for him as he was such an easy going guy nothing was ever a problem . He is a credit to you ! I’m deeply sorry for your loss .

Niall was my youngest first cousin. I actually thought about looking for some photos of Niall when he was a wee boy of about 6 or 7 years old, when he came to my wedding with Moya and Bob. He was such a cutie and everybody was enthralled with his cheeky giggle and twinkly eyes. His social curiosity at the wedding reception was a pure delight for us all to watch and interact with. I’d wanted to meet Niall again, to get to know him better as an adult, as I’d heard great things about his vibrant personality and his joie de vivre. I greatly admire his fortitude through all that he had endured.
