I only met Niall a few times but always heard how he was gettng on over the years from Rachel and Fiona. In the times that I had met him, I always felt like I'd known him years and you'd instantly relax in his company. He was such a lovely bloke and I'm sad to not be able to get to know him better.He was a testament to John and Maria and Fiona. The ceremony today really showed how amazing he was as a person.

I want to share huge condolences to Niall's family and friends at such a big loss. I worked with Niall during covid in SMH and he was one of my favourite people to work with. I looked forward to every shift I worked with him. Niall was kind, caring, a great listener to all my whinging and made every shift about the guys we supported. Niall and I had great chats on shift and shared many a smoke break talking about the rights and wrongs of our lives and the world. I hope you are at peace now Niall, but i will miss you x

I worked with Niall in SMH and can honestly say he was such a kind, funny and beautiful soul. We always had the chats in particular about his Niece who is the same age as my daughter. We would share funny stories of them and you could see how much he loved her and his family. His humour, wit and care shone everyday and it was a pleasure to work alongside him. I am so saddened and absolutely devastated to hear of his passing and my sincere condolences to all of his family, friends and colleagues. Even when I left SMH he would check in with me from time to time and I was always so happy to hear from him. He has definitely left a positive mark on my life and will be missed wholeheartedly. RIP Niall 💔

All BIMM Music Institute Dublin lecturers and staff are deeply saddened by the shocking news of Niall’s passing. When Niall joined the BIMM community we got to know a special, warm, creative and talented person that was held in the highest regard by lecturers and staff. As well as getting involved so creatively with his studies, Niall made a valuable contribution to college life over the many years he was with studying with us. We distinctly recall the occasions he performed and displayed his unique talent and abilities; we are lucky to have so many wonderful memories.

Niall was a great friend to myself and the lads on our Diploma course in BIMM. He was always having a laugh and even better for lending an ear. My sincerest condolences to the family at this time.

Sincere condolences to Niall’s family. Niall was always that happy smiling young man even from his schooldays, but we got to know him as a key worker for our son Karl. Niall not only provided excellent care, he became a big brother with warmth and excitement for Karl who would light up when Niall arrived. When the weather would not permit an outdoor activity, Niall entertained Karl with his music. He always would give time to us to report what they did, and then asked how things were going for us. You will go a long way to meet such a wonderful man.

Niall was my housemate here in Wolseley for over four years. He was the nicest person you could meet; always there to lend his ear, watch movies with or just have a chat. He was one of the most generous people I’ve ever met and would give me or those around him anything he had whether it be time or a helping hand. He was so musically talented despite criminally underrating himself as an artist; he’d practise guitar in the house until he had a song or verse honed to perfection. He could talk to anyone about a niche subject that was mentioned because he was interested in everything. He was really funny and lightened any conversation we had and his laugh was so infectious. Simply put, he was a rare human being ❤️It’s impossible to put in to words how much I’m going to miss you Niall, home is such a lonely place without you xxxx
