Niamh truly was one of a kind. Unique in every way. Her infectious laugh will stay with me for the rest of my life. Friends since primary school, we shared many happy times together, laughing at all the wrong times, especially at mass! It was a hard task to stay serious in Niamh’s company.
She was full of mischief and fun and every
serious chat ended with a laugh.
Niamh loved Glanworth and everything about it - her family and her many friends and she really was so proud of where she came from. She was the best advertisement for Glanworth that there ever was!
Niamh was a kind, caring, generous, funny person - a big child at heart! She was a dedicated, compassionate nurse who loved her job and went above and beyond her duties. She wore her heart on her sleeve.
Niamh touched so many lives and her legacy will live on forever.
It breaks our hearts to say goodbye but you will never be forgotten. Once a GG, always a GG! Until we meet again, my lovely friend Niamh xx

So sorry to hear the shocking news that Niamh has passed away, she was a colleague of mine when I was a very newly qualified nurse in 2009 and she took me under her wing. She will be sorely missed by the patients and staff at the Royal Free. Rest in Peace Niamh and may your family take comfort in the fact you were a wonderful nurse and friend to so many.
