Conor and family, I'm so very sorry you've lost your lovely lovely Niamh after many years of illness but you can at least know you were so very lucky to be blessed by her for so many years. She was great fun and she was a laugh and she was great company and one always felt good after a Niamh encounter wherever that might be. She cared for everyone with a lightness and kindness seldom seen. I am glad I knew her and I know it's no consolation but you and your children have the loveliest memories of her and your times together so you will always carry the best of Niamh onwards, the most fitting celebration of her.

I wore my odd socks for World Down Syndrome Day as I thought I'd combine the celebration with the life that Niamh had as I'm one of the team from "Happy Out Café" so I managed to get away with it at the sevice this morning!!!!
I just wanted to say something amusing as I know it's a sad time for Brian and family.
I only know Brian from "Together Academy" but didn't know much about his family until I heard some of the comments that were shared at the service - I was very, very moved and close to tears as I'm sorry I never met her and she sounds like a lovely person.
My heart goes out to everyone who knew her.
