The world has lost a most unique and beautiful woman - such intelligence and wit made it a joy to be around her. Niamh had an unwavering sense of integrity, combined with the sharpest sense of humor, which remained right up to her final days. She left this world on her own terms, knowing she was very much loved by the people that mattered to her, and in tender care of the palliative care team. I also remember Niamh for her grace and kindness.

Heaven has just gained a rock star!! You don’t need me to tell you how unique, funny and special she was but I will always think fondly of the times I was in her company.
I am so grateful that I got to spend a few days in Killorglin with her, on one of Anne Marie’s trips home, and will treasure the memories of the endless belly laughs forever.
