Only just heard about the passing of my dear friend Nicky. Worked with him for many years. A gentleman and a dear friend. Thanks for all the fun we had and the laughs we shared. Will be sadly missed by all. You were one of kind. RIP.

I have fond memories of Nicky many years ago in the early 60s when we worked together as young boys in fitting shop in pierces.he then went to win an allireland medal with the wexford minor team i think in 1968.

Dear Amanda, Nicky and Paul. My thoughts are with you today, the loss of a parent is a tragedy in life. I wanted you to know that I think of your Dad with fondness, he was always very good to me growing up. He even allowed me to argue with him on some extremely tricky subjects. I rather think he enjoyed my ignorance and I now understand that he was right all along. The last time I spoke to your Dad in person was Grand National day, April 1988, we discussed the race at length over a drink in the Talbot Hotel. Rather predictably he picked the winner!

Condolences to all Nicky family I remember him very well playing hurling many years ago when my dad Jack was involved with Na Fiana club if I am not mistaken think he was on Wexford minor team when they won first all Ireland and he was a very nice man may he rest in peace
