It is with deep sadness that I have just heard of Nicky's passing. Another character with a unique sense of wit and humour. Many's the chat I had with him outside Spar's in Barrack Street and in The Exchange Pub. He was always his own man and loved talking about sport. A good soccer player in his day too. He fought his ilness bravely to the end. RIP my friend.

Paula and Nicky's family I am so sorry to hear of Nicky's passing. Paula you were everything to him and he wouldn't have got through his illness without you. I'm so sorry I never got out to see him.
