We all grew up with Nicky on the Avenue and I remember how lovely he was and how everyone looked out for Nicky. They are good memories of a great and carefree time.

Nicky was one of a kind, so gentle and loving with a sense of fun that brightened up all our days. The first to a dancefloor, especially to the sounds of Robbie Williams/Michael Jackson. The first off a dancefloor in equal measures, for a pint of Guinness or chocolate cake. Nicky's hearty laugh was infectious and he was a joy to be around. A love of taking his time and relaxing to the max, everyone should take a leaf out of Nicky's book. Rest in peace dear Nicky
