I am so saddened and shocked to hear the passing of Niki. We worked together at CBS/Sony and shared lots of fun and laughter. I look back on those days with fond memories - and always will. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends. Rest in peace lovely Niki xxx

I was so shocked to hear of Niki’s sudden death and my heart is breaking for Mark and their children – she was taken way too young.
We were at school together in Ingatestone and we had to decide how to spell our names as we were both “Nicky” – I chose Nicki and Niki chose this spelling. I remember, after our O’levels, we went on a cycling holiday together - taking our bikes on the train to Exeter and then cycling round Devon, staying in Youth hostels – did our parents really let us do that at 16? We went with 3 boys, but we couldn’t keep up with them, so Niki and I had our own little adventures…. it’s amazing that we managed to reach each place with no mobile phones or sat navs! Everyday was fun with Niki.
A couple of years ago we organised a school reunion for our 60th year and I was delighted to see Niki again and to meet her lovely husband Mark at Dan’s Birthday bash.
Niki, you will be sorely missed at our future reunions, but we will raise a toast to celebrate your life, knowing you will be looking down on us and laughing. Love you sweetheart, sleep peacefully xxxxxx

Remembering my dear friend Niki. We were true ‘Besties’ in our teenage years, spending all our spare time together. We shared a love of music, fashion and dancing at the local disco on a Friday night. You were always so vibrant and full of laughter. We lost touch as we left school and I am so thankful that we reconnected through a school reunion 2 years ago. We met half a dozen times since then, catching up on all the missing years: careers, weddings, children. You told me what a wonderful life you had with Mark and spoke so proudly of your children. I am grateful I had the chance to spend time with you again and to share so many happy memories.

Sincere sympathy to Niki's husband and two children. We both had the previlage of working along side Niki for a short while, a kind hearted and lovable character who lit up the room.

I often met Niki out walking, she would
always stop and have time for a chat. Chatting about how life was going for us both, as she mentioned her husband Mark and two children Zak and Ellie who she spoke so highly of. She will be sorley missed by all who knew her.

Sending my deepest sympathy to Mark, Zak, Ellie and Niki's family. It certainly wasn't the news I was expecting when Mark called on Tuesday morning.

Niki and I had worked together at CBS end of the 80's into the 90's and shared many happy, fun memories. Her kindness, friendship and support was second to none. We worked hard but we played harder and were like naughty school kids. Such as covering for each other when late into work or when managing to get out of a gig when neither of us wanted to be there! We knew every back exit out of most venues!

Although distance sadly lessened our in person contact we managed to send cards, message each other and call. My opening line to her, after she moved to Ireland with her beloved Mark, was alway "Haw arrrrr yew?" said in a cod French & Saunders Irish accent, which always made her laugh. I know with a heavy heart I won't be able to utter those three words ever again. Rest in Peace dear Niki. You'll be missed by so many xx

Niki was a truly talented lady who blew me away with both her music and language skills. She was incredibly well read and intelligent. She was intuitive and could read body language which ensured that she said the correct thing at the correct time. She was observant and did not hesitate to offer compliments. She did not take herself too seriously. Niki would tell a story from her past and, while her experiences were unique and wonderful, Niki remained humble, only ever showing pride in her two wonderful children who she knew she and Mark had excelled in their nurture of. Niki was professional and discrete. She was fun, warm, and witty. We will miss you Niki. We will miss your smile and the expressive faces that you pulled when you must have been silently giving out but were way too polite and generous to say “no” ever. Thank you Niki. Ellie, Zac and Mark, remember that Niki is with you as you carry her in your heart for always.

I cannot express my sadness and grief right now and I fear I will never have the right words.

I feel genuinely lucky to have worked right next to Niki for the last 4 years. Her friendship, support, kindness and love is something I will never forget. I will never meet something quite as special as Niki and she will be forever missed at Bush.

In time, I will look back at the craic we had in the office and think about all the jokes we had with each other and laugh.

To Mark, Zak & Ellie she spoke about you all every single day with such pride and I am sending my love to you all through this difficult time.

Who would have thought 2 people from different generations would become such good friends but I am so grateful we did. It has been an honour to have known such an amazing person. I am absolutely heartbroken.
