Indeed Nives passing is a great loss.
I first met Nives at Tigroney House. Avoca when Sara Evans was doing afternoon tea one beautiful summers day.....a wonderful person too, I may add.
Nives and I became firm friends as did Brian, her husband.
She edited the early chapters of my first period drama novel and many a lovely day was spent with a cast of friends in Tigrony.
In retrospect, we would have made a brilliant recasting of Pride and Prejudice.
Nives was a wonderful person, sincere and wise.

Condolences to Mrs. Egan Langley's family. I have wonderful memories of doing speech & drama classes with her in Aughrim National School and in later years in above the Bridge Hotel in Arklow. I lived for those classes as a young person. She also coached me in public speaking and for the Arklow Music Festival. I still remember my poem so clearly to this day, 'A boys song' by James Hogg. She was an absolute lady. RIP

My deepest condolences to all the family and friends of this wonderful lady. Mrs. Egan-Langley taught me Speech and Drama and then puplic speaking from the late 80s into the 90s, in Arklow. Her teaching instilled a lifelong love and appreciation of poetry and drama that I am so grateful for. May her lovely soul Rest in Peace.
