I wish to send my sincere and heartfelt condolences to Noel’s mom, dad, siblings and all of his family and friends who love him so much.

I didn’t know Noel but my sister did and when she told me Noel had suddenly passed I felt such sadness as I had often heard his name when she was telling stories and I just knew how much joy and fun he brought to their friend group and their time in UCD.

She said to me last week Noel just knew how to be himself before his time. She said so many of us worry about what others think when we are younger but Noel didn’t ,he was just so content in being himself and being the light and a source of joy for everyone he met.
I have been thinking of you all and will continue to pray for you.

I am so grateful to have had Noel in my life from a young age. From irish dancing in the kitchen at mam and dad's anniversary, to cracking my bed at one of the girl's parties. I loved waking up at the weekends and hearing Noel's voice downstairs, everyone was included.
Noel was kind, generous and warm. He lit up our home. As a lad, Noel was an example for me of how to be yourself, how to be gentle and how to be kind, even at times if it meant being different.
I will carry Noel and his example with me throughout my life. I will try to keep him alive by trying my best to go the extra mile for my patients and for my family and friends, as he always did. I will think of him.

To the Bracken family, thank you so much for your openness this week, allowing us to be close to you, bringing us closer to Noel. Noel was a product of the character you have and the principles of strength and consideration you all clearly live by.

Rest in a deep peace Noel, you deserve it and you have earned it. Your work is done.

I am lucky to have had Noel in my life. He was an addition to every occasion, in fact most of the time it wasn't an occasion.. and then Noel arrived.

I have many great memories with Noel, but some of my favourites would be simply those where the white van pulled in the driveway in Tegan, and Noel would sit in for hours telling us whatever daft stories he had that week and generally just lighting up our house. We all loved when Noel was around.

To the Bracken family, I have watched on in awe of how each of you have held yourselves this week. Pure kindness, character and class. A true reflection of Noel. I hope you can take some comfort in the outpouring of love for Noel and the memories shared this week and in the coming weeks, months and years. Noel certainly will never be forgotten.
