RiP Noel and condolences to Jeff and Family

It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Noel. Its been many years now since I have had the pleasure of Noel's warm company. Back then Jeff with Noel and Johnnie ran the wonderful magical Underground bar which was a safe and nurturing venue for many a snotty nosed band who believed they were gonna conquer the world and be the next big thing, and the lads always made you feel that anything was possible.
Noel always had great time for everyone whether it be some wise words of advice or some genuine encouragement. Noel treated one and all with respect and always good humour. The years ran away too fast but so many fond memories of night's in the Underground with Noel holding court remain. Thank you Noel, it was truly an honour to have known you.

With gratitude and love for having known such a great soul as Noel - for his warmth, faultless generosity, unfailing humour, stories and songs, patience, many kindnesses, intelligence, good grace, and compassion. A man who bestowed joy on everyone he met. And more than it’s possible to say. In debt to him for so much. Impossible to forget.
