Saddened to hear the news of Noel's death. Sincere sympathy to his wife Kathleen and all the family and friends. Noel was a friendly and genuine man who had such a love for the music. In that he followed his father Tommy. He will be sadly missed. Martin and Violet (among the many who enjoyed Noel's company in sessions here and there, and got the occasional very welcome lift. Sorry that a bout of sickness here meant it wasn't possible to attend the wake or funeral.)

My deepest condolences to Noel’s friends and family. It is hard to believe he is gone. I was lucky enough to know Noel through music and I cherish every session we’ve shared, lastly in his home early August last year. Thank you Kathleen for having us then; a lovely memory.
