I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Noel. I first met Noel over 55 years ago, we have such great memories of our families growing up together. Don't know what to say. Just noticed this notice of Noel's passing. My God he was such a character, never stopped talking. Met him after he bought the house on ballymoe road. He used come for a drink in Ballintubber. Painted my house, took a while with all the stories of his girls. We knew more here than you did! After that he would bring beautiful bread from Dublin to myself and my friend. He was such a gentleman, if you could get a word in ! He will be sadly missed from Roscommon. My sincere apologies to you all. RIP my dear friend Noel.
