I have many fond memories of Noel (or Mr Byrne as we called him) behind the shop counter or in the kitchen when he would always have a witty comment, usually referring to me as ‘Joseph of Armetheia’. Noel was true gentleman, and the town will not be the same with his passing. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
