Dear Rita and family, I was so sorry to hear of Noel's passing known the pain it inflicts on each of you. I hope you are comforted in knowing the he is in good company and in a place with no pain. I like to think that he and my mother are enjoying a reunion that we all will join one day. I just watched his funeral from my home in Arizona and I am grateful the technology is available to be present at times like this. Each of you remain in our thoughts and prayers. He was one of a kind. As the song says "A part of Dublin in the rare ould times!"

I got to know Noel when when I used to work in Donaghmede library . It turned out he was an old neighbour of my mams in meads terrace. He was great craic and I had great times chatten to him, laughen with him and making him tea. The odd time I'd drive his scooter around the library. He lit up the room. Rip Noel x
