To Paula, Darach and Annie, and the extended Duffy and McGauran families — I’m so very sorry for your loss. Noel was one of the kindest and most decent people I’ve had the pleasure to work with.

What I’ll remember most is Noel’s unique, infectious laugh — the sort that set everyone else off laughing too. I still picture him at a lunch table, trying to hide behind his napkin because he was laughing so hard he couldn’t speak, after one of those “you had to be there” work stories.

May Noel rest in peace, and may the love he gave so freely be a comfort to you now.

We have had the privilege of working with Noel for a great number of years at Dolphin, he was a kind and generous man with a great sense of humour, we will always be indebted to him for allowing me to change my hours on numerous occasions to accommodate our children and grandchildren, our love and prayers go to Paula, Annie and Darach and the wider family at this very sad time. I worked for Noel at Dolphin Computer Access, a wonderful, gentle and compassionate man. His knowledge of the low vision market was immense and he was committed to helping people with accomodations that would improve their lives. I've worked for a number of software companies that are hard-nosed and mercenary. Through Noel's leadership Dolphin's culture is far from that. Our culture is caring and sympathetic. We are all devastated at the untimely passing of Uncle Noel. He was such a good man - so encouraging, optimistic, well humored.
