To Bridget and family and all the Duggan family and OMeara family. I am truly sorry to read of Noels death. I went to school with Noel in Bellinree and always remember his smile and laughing eyes at me. He always bet me in tests and he knew it got under my skin. How I studied to beat him and he just rocked up. We didnt meet for years intil one day in Cork where i worked we meet in a restaurant.I knew him straight away his smiling eyes at me. We sat and chatted for ages. I so loved that chat with him. I only used to meet him at my family furnerals. How I loved to see him coming to me with a smile and shining eyes. I am so sorry to hear he hadnt been well. I know he is in heaven now smiling and chatting. REST IN PEACE my friend. Margaret Murphy/Connolly.

My sincere condolences to Bridget, William and Kate. I share in your grievance as my wife Ann passed as well last April. I will always remember Noel and his family when we cooperated as Century Printing since the late 90's. He was a good man, always in good humour and courteous and both he and Bridget hard working. I have pleasant memories of William and Kate when they were kids, accompanying Noel when he came to our house to discuss the "printing of books" and they enjoying Ann's buns.

I met Noel over the course of my work on the prospect of a cultural quarter for Nenagh. He was an absolute gentleman to deal with, and held a wonderful enthusiasm for the past, present and future possibilities of his town, to the end. Sincere sympathies to all his family and friends. A great loss! Noel's vision to promote natural healthcare and herbal medicine was realised in the impressive shanbally herb dispensary. In our conversations I was always struck by his wide open curiosity, enthusiasm and conviction when discussing herbal medicine, health, and more recently proritising whats important and that was surrounding himself with loved ones. Our few conversations were always heartfelt and sincere. May you pass back into your original spirit with ease and in peace. My condolences to Bridget and family.

Noel became known to us in Steeples. We were always impressed in how he took the time to speak with us and others and learn about their day. I still remember with fondness the story of the robin nesting in the toilet And how the renovation works were ceased until the nestlings had left.

Noel was always welcoming, enthusiastic and inclusive “to Noel everything was possible.

I only met Noel the once last year in the restaurant in the company of Jim Costello and toured the estate, the Botanical facility and the Shanbally House - the jewel in the crown. A true gentleman with great vision. Sincerest sympathies to all his family. RIP Noel.
