It was with great regret that I learned of Noel's death. Always a gentleman and a dear friend to my brother David over a lifetime and more, he will will be sadly missed in Cavan and further afield, He made a substantial contribution to business and construction in Cavan and Dublin. My sincere sympathy goes out to his wife and family and my regret that I was unable to attend his funeral due to ongoing ill health. May God have mercy on his soul.

Working as I did with Noel Elliott many years ago was a very rewarding experience for all involved in his various construction projects.
I personally consider it a great privilege to have known and worked with Noel in those challenging early days.

I'm so sad to hear of Mr. Elliott's passing and sincere condolences to his extensive family.... Noel Jnr and Mark that I knew in particular .... I had the great pleasure of meeting Mr. Elliott on numerous occasions over the years (too long to mention !) and chatting to him on his visits to our offices and other gatherings ..... I always called him "Mr. Elliott" and he always said "Call me Noel.... you're making me feel old" and we would laugh, I'd give him a cuppa and and he'd smile and thank me.. .... and when he was next in .... I'd still call him "Mr. Elliott" and he'd say the same thing "you're making me feel old" and we'd laugh again... I can still see him smiling and laughing.... Rory would say "hey biscuits we can't afford that!" and they both got a good laugh outta that .... he was such a gentleman.... always kind... always smiling.... always respectful..... always friendly..... you all must be so so sad..... thinking of you at this very very difficult time. May God give you all the strength and guidance to cope with his passing. Sincerely. Caroline
