So very sorry about Noel's passing. As kids during the the summer holidays of the 1960s, it was like growing up with Noel, Dessy and Tony. Great memories of Cook Street. 314 St Audeon's flats was a spectacular gathering place for the Kavanaghs and the broader extended family We were very sorry that we were unable to get over for the funeral, we will arrange a Mass for Noel. It is with a very saddened heart I write this. My deepest sympathy and condolences to you Marian and family on hearing the passing of absolutely amazing man, Noel (George).

I just want to say that, I have never worked for a better person. In all our years we worked and played together there was never a bad word between us, not unless it was me giving out to you Noel, and I did a lot of that in our last 2 years working together. Even when you were wrong you were right.

Noel you were an even better friend and father figure to me than a boss. We had some absolutely fantastic trips and times together over the years which I will never forget.

I owe you so much in so so many ways, I can never thank you enough for what you taught me over the years in life and work, but you knew that, as you always reminded me over many a drink or two together.

What do I say other than,  I am so sorry George.. We will have that chat when we meet again please God.

Love you aways buddy.

You may be out of sight Noel but you will always be in my heart.

Sincere sympathy to all the Kavanagh family on Noel's death. When I worked for the INTO, Noel was our "go to" person for so many electrical issues which required his special skills. He was popular across our offices with all staff and always had a good word for everyone. I hope that fond memories are of comfort to the family at this sad time. RIP.

Sincere sympathy to Marion and Noel's family on his passing. I first got to know Noel back in the 90s when I worked in the Teachers' Club and he was our electrician. I always found him friendly and that he had a great sense of humour. I enjoyed many chats with Noel about a variety of subjects and he was always very knowledgable. May Noel RIP.
