To Anne all the Graham family, I’m so sorry to hear of this very sad news. Thinking of all of you at this sad time.
I have just learned the news of Noel’s recent death, and am truly shocked and saddened.
I met Noel through a mutual acquaintance over 35 years ago. During our time together, Noel stripped my bicycle down to its very smallest components, oiled them all thoroughly and then reassembled the bicycle; a truly gargantuan and labour-intensive task. For this act of great kindness Noel absolutely and resolutely refused payment.
Furthermore, through our friendship, Noel developed an interest in one of my own hobbies: tropical fish keeping; and relieved me of my tank, fish and equipment when I abruptly needed to move house. He managed the fiendishly difficult transfer process to his own residence single-handedly and with great efficiency.
I remember visiting Noel’s family home in Dalkey on one occasion and meeting his brother Peter there.
Sadly, I lost contact with Noel during the intervening years, but never forgot him; and thought of him often with fond remembrance of his exceptional kindness and warmth.
I extend my heartfelt sympathy to Noel’s family at this time of great sadness and loss.
I recall vividly his infectious laugh and winning smile.
May he rest in peace.

To Anne , Paul,Alan &Peter and also Noel's family. We were so sorry to hear of Noel's recent death and we can only imagine how heartbroken you all are.
Words are so inadequate at this sad time but cherish the happy memories you all shared and remember that those who we have loved and lost remain always close to us , especially when we keep their memory alive.
I am fondly remembering the many Christmas, St Stephen's days when we would visit all our cousins in Derrynane gardens and the fun and divilment.
Our heartfelt sympathy to you all
