Noel Groome

I am shocked to only hear recently of Noel's passing.
Ha was a great man ,he not only coached us for football but he thought us how to be honest young men .
He had a fantastic knowledge of soccer, and he passed it on to us so well .
Noel you were do much part of my youth , thank you so much for caring for all of us .
I'm so sad.

Dearest Maria, I am so sorry to hear of your dear Noel' s passing. My heartfelt condolences to you and the Groome family. He was a true gentleman and always so pleasant, even as you both were battling ill health. Such a courageous couple. I have good memories of our time on the golf course and in the choir and it was very uplifting for me personally to share our experiences in the past few years. Always there for you, Maria.

So sorry to hear about Noel. Memories of a shared childhood in Rush and Nottingham. When we went home a few years ago he showed me and Andy around Larkhill and Drumcondra where our dads lived and went to school. It was great seeing him again.
