I was deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Paul's father's sudden passing due to illness. Although we have never met, I often hear my daughter talk about you and Noel. You and Noel’s deep bond, mutual understanding, and constant companionship make my daughter and Paul very envious. Your kindness, thoughtfulness, sense of responsibility, and selfless dedication to your family have created a warm, harmonious, and joyful family. I am also very grateful that Noel and you attended my daughter and Paul's registration at the end of April. I believe that participating in this important moment for the children must have been one of Paul's father's happiest moments before his passing. He witnessed each child's birth, education, growth, and marriage. My daughter says that Paul's father was very capable and hands-on, and was a good role model for everyone.

We had planned and arranged everything for your visit to China for their wedding, hoping you could experience Chinese cuisine and scenery. Unfortunately, Paul's father's passing has left us all with regret. Nevertheless, I invite you and your family to visit China, and I look forward to meeting you.

May Paul's father rest in peace and enjoy eternal happiness. Please accept my deepest condolences, and take care of yourself and your family.

Noel was always a positive and cheerful person, whose humour has brought so much laughter into my life. I will miss and cherish all the talks and laughs we’ve had, and their warmth and encouragement will stay with me.

I was shocked to hear of the death of Noel this morning. Although I knew he was ill, I was still taken by surprise by his sudden passing.

Noel was a great colleague to us in Asia even though we worked over 10 thousand kilometers apart.
