Gosh, it’s amazing the things one recalls.Over fifty years ago at prep school in St.Gerard’s School, Bray. I remember you being dropped off by your father in a smart Jaguar. I imagine, that your interest in nice cars is in your DNA. You have your Dad to thank for that. I remember him well from school days, he was very patient when Vikki was having hoardes of Killiney girls over to the house on sleep- overs! More recently, it has been lovely to be a neighbour, he always had a bright smile when I bumped into him on his walks. I wish you all strength during this very sad time. As a five decade close friend of Noel’s son John, I was in and around Noel, Gill & kids in their home and beyond many times over the years. His affability, charm, manners but above all his wit - were a mainstay of his warm personality. Never an encounter without a quip that led to laughter. A true old school gent has flown west.
