I was on Noel’s team in Irish Distillers for many years he was always informative and courteous ,the most he would say if anything went wrong was “Well,that’s more of it” a phrase I now use when I miss that 2foot putt.Noel will be missed Rest in Peace

Noel was my first boss when I joined Irish Distillers 30 years ago. He was a gentleman, I have lovely memories of working with him. Always fair and a fountain of knowledge on all things shipping. He had a quick wit and was great company at any social event. He spoke often of his family and how proud he was of you all.
I loved his saying just before he left the office every evening ‘right I better go before I start making mistakes’. I still say it today.
RIP Noel and I hope you’ll be enjoying a Jameson in Heaven.
