Noel James Noone

Only finding out about this now :( Noel was in my primary school, a year ahead I think. I didn't know him much then but always seemed nice. I met him again as a teenager and we both went to the same youth cafes and he was always such a pleasure to be around. He was so kind. I'll never forget the day he came with me to get the side of my head shaved to a barbers he said was good, they refused to because I was a girl and he told them that was wrong of them. He was always so funny and kind. We spoke lots about our difficulties back then. RIP Noel

I knew Noel a long time a nice caring guy.

I only knew Noel for a short time, but in that time I quickly felt like I'd known him all my life. He had a wonderful, kind, gentle heart and my memories of him are the fondest. Noel helped me at a difficult time in my life through his friendship. He talked often about how much he loved his family, and especially about his grandmother. I will never forget the time we spent together, playing pool, watching telly and having the craic. Noel was a great man for a story and his speciality was doing a hilarious impression of the German goalkeepers Jens Lehmann and Oliver Kahn, which would have done justice to Apres Match. I am so, so saddened to learn of Noel's passing. May the eternal light of heaven shine upon you Noel and my deepest sympathies and condolences to all the Noone family on your heartbreaking loss.
