Dear Auntie Maureen, Auntie Nula,
Fintan, Conor, Emer & Dera,
I was so sad to hear Uncle Noel had passed on, he was a very special person, who always made Neil and myself and Mom & Dad, feel very welcome in your home, on those only too rare occasions when we got together, but we always made the most of them. A truly wonderful person who always put others before himself, he was well loved by all, and won’t be forgotten.
My deepest condolences
And lot of love

My visits to Dublin will no longer be the same without Noel. Meeting Noel for the first time over a decade ago he made me feel part of the family from day one. I know from himself that he and Gladys put in the good word for me with Aida. Definitely the opinions that made all the difference :)
I'll miss the whiskeys, chats, and laughs, as Churchtown moves around us.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Noel, a true gentleman. Noel was an integral part of the Milltown Clonskeagh Credit Union before its merger with Heritage Credit Union, and he left a lasting impression on both colleagues and members alike. Even after his departure, the members of Milltown Clonskeagh (Windy Arbour) continued to ask about him every day, a testament to his kindness and warmth. Our thoughts are with Noel’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.
Thinking of all the Jones family on the loss of Noel, he was an absolute gentleman and a pleasure to deal with, any time i was down in the credit union, may he rest in peace.

Deepest sympathy to Maureen, the Jones family & the Boyle family on the death of Noel RIP...one of life's true gentlemen has departed .Noel was a lovely, lovely man full of charm, wit & kindness. Maureen & himself were a delightful couple, dedicated to each other. I have very fond memories of wonderful gatherings, stretching back over 50 years, in Aida's house in Rathmines which they were very much part of. Noel was the life & soul of any gathering. Hard to believe you're gone Uncle Noel. I will never forget the magic and joy you created for us as kids in the 'jungle', with the nearby Grabber Tree, Fairy Tree and Mr Fox. We ran down that hill every time until fairly recently... The 'buzzer' on your forehead. A well-lived life, with many examples for us all to follow. Your stories, laughter, smiles, dancing to Abba at Nanas, gardening, friendships, volunteering, no-waste no-fuss lifestyle and, of course, always on the bike. Peddling up Churchtown hill, one of the steepest hills around, even with little Ian in-toe, it was no bother to you. A true environmentalist before it was a thing. The world sure would be a better place with more Noels. You'll be greatly missed by many. All my love to 'Churchtown' aka the wonderful Jonses xxx
