I was sorry to learn of the untimely passing of my good neighbour, Noel, one of natures true gentlemen. Noel was a quiet and unassuming man who lived for his family and was never found wanting if called upon to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbours. As a youth, the Lafferty family in Ballinacor were very much part of my growing up and i spent many days and nights in the welcoming home of his parents, the late Dan and Rosie, and forged a friendship with Noel which has endured since. His quiet and genuine manner will be sadly missed in our locality but partucularly so by Margaret and the family. May he rest in peace. Sincere sympathy to all the Lafferty and Gallen family from Noel Slevin in Killcadden and Mary and Agnes in London.
