So sorry to hear of Noel's passing. We had shared a stage several times in shows for Lismore Dramatic Society & also at the Lismore P2P annual race meeting. Such a nice gentleman to have known .RIP Noel.

Noel was a kind, caring,friendly man and always totally committed to his family and to the community of Cappoquin.Whether it was the young hurlers of Cappoquin many years ago to whom Noel was a highly respected mentor and coach or the many organisations and events in which he was involved with over the years Noel was always an encouraging, determined and committed presence. He has left a very positive legacy after a life well-lived. He is now reunited with his beloved Úna. You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this sad and difficult time. Sincere and heartfelt condolences to Karol, Una, Collette, Deirdre and their families on Noel’s passing. Noel’s beloved wife Una was our Dad’s first cousin but Noel might as well have been related too because our parents thought the world of them both. When my Dad was dying in CUH in 2010 Noel and Una visited. Noel enveloped us in the warmest bear hug affording comfort at a very difficult time and Una laid out a China cup, saucer and plate for my Mom and poured her tea from a flask she had brought. It was so thoughtful and loving and we’ve never forgotten the bother they went to. Noel was again especially kind to Mom at Karol’s wedding, when he had so many other responsibilities as father of the groom but made sure to bring Mom a footstool to make her day more comfortable.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
