So sorry to hear of Noel’s passing. He was a great physio and a lovely man. Enjoyed the pain he inflicted on my achilles and the poultices - they worked. But most of all he was a great man to chat with. Condolences to his family.

So saddened to hear of Noel’s passing. We looked forward to Wednesday’s in the National Basketball Arena when Noel would come in. Bringing life to the place, healing our bodies, making us laugh and having the craic with him. With stories of horses, football and making us cry with laughter. A gentleman that would do anything for you and so wise with his advise. We will miss him, never forget the love and fun he brought to us all in the National Basketball Arena.

Deepest sympathies to the extended McEvoy clan. In1992 I organised a Blazing Saddles charity cycle for The National Council for the Blind in California!

I say this with hand on my heart Noel McEvoy was the "star" performer on and off the bike from The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco to The Queen Mary in Long Beach LA. What a great character,friend,fundraiser and advisor to me!

Noel also got me into cycling a bike? - he trained others and me for the Annual Maracycle Dublin- Belfast- Dublin..... I've been cycling thousands of klm's ever since down to that great man!

Sadly due to illness I missed Noel's farewell which saddened Alma and me greatly.However he will remain 'top man' in my great book of memories......we had some laughs along the long road, rest in peace Noel!

Many moons ago, Noel rehabilitated me after an injury with Drogheda rugby club. He had his special potion and worked diligently on my knee for a number of weeks, wanting nothing in return. May he rest in peace

Ah, so sorry to hear of Noel's passing, a gentleman and a Giant of Clogherhead. Stayed in Ashling in a mobile home during the '70s with my family, I was about nine or ten, always a kind word from Noel and Michael for us kids. One evening, I was sent on the errand to buy hamburgers (as they were known then), for supper from the wee onsite takeaway, Noel was on the fryers and asked me if I wanted chips with my order, I said 'No, thank you'. 'Well' says Noel, "you're going to have some now, we made too much and they'll only go to loss'. Wow! I was overwhelmed at this kindness! What a feast we had that night, always remembered that. Sincere sympathies to Noel's family and loved ones. God bless you Noel 🙏

Dear Breda and McEvoy Family,
We were all saddened to hear that Noel has passed away. He was a great man, with a great presence (physical and in spirit). His joy of his work and of sport was palpable. But more so his love of family.
We missed his intermittent visits to the day unit and the stories he would have for us.
May Noel rest in peace and continue to inspire all those he influenced in his life.

Sincerest sympathies Breda and family for the loss of a great man.
Many happy childhood memories of the bags of chips and coins for the arcade machines to keep us busy while you both had a chat with Dad and Mam. Those chats with Dad will no doubt take off again from where they were last left.
Noel was always on hand for us all for physio when needed and the time always flew by chatting about football or his Grandkids achievements of which he was very proud of, etc.
He will be sadly missed by all of us who were fortunate to have known him.
