Noel McGuinness

I was very sorry to hear of Noel's sad passing.Like many others , we always used to exchange Xmas cards, and, of course, hadn't received one this time. I used to work with Noel at BT in Colindale, and always found him pleasant and agreeable and easy to get on with, and he had a fine sense of humour.I remember that after my leaving do and party,he insisted we both go round to the pub to have a double whiskey(his favourite tipple)and he liked to smoke a cigar too.I admired him in that he would always give up drink for lent. He will be sorely missed.My condolences go to his family and many friends.

Sad news to hear of Noel's passing. I also knew Noel from time at BT from my early days at Telephone House and then later on when worked with him and Steve in Colindale. Memories of times there and chats. My sympathy to his family and friends. RIPx

I am very saddened to hear of Noel's passing, I have very fond memories of working with Noel in our Colindale office, where we spent many hours trying to 'balance' the books. I was saddened to hear of Noel's passing. Like Mike Collins I worked with Noel in BT for many years. Noel had a good sense of humour and I have fond memories of all the laughs we had during that time. We kept in touch over the years and I will miss his cards and the yearly telephone call catching up on each other's news. My condolences go to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

I have just learned of Noels sad passing. I worked (and socialised!) with Noel in British Telecom, Colindale, North London from 1987 until his return to Manorhamilton around the Millennium.
We always stayed in contact and when his traditional Christmas Card didn't arrive I knew something was amiss. Sadly, I know why now.
Noel was a great work colleague and a great craic. Whenever I see someone smoking a cigar, I always think of Noel as he always produced his cigars after a few drinks!
