Dear Alice and family, Noel and I grew up together, played together and he was always admired for
his devotion to the community of Tipperary Town. He left many memories and dear friends.

It was a lovely ceremony and your daughter gave a wonderful eulogy for her father. And your son's poem was very appropriate too. Noel was the main driving force in bringing heritage status to the town of Cahir. Cahir was the last town in Ireland to receive heritage status.

Very sorry to hear of Noel's passing. God rest him. Such an immense contribution to life in Tipperary Town. An entrepeneur, a town councillor, a community activist, a local radio promoter, a peace activist and so much more. He will be forever associated with Tipperary Peace Convention and his leadership as its first Chairman. He presented the very first Tipperary International Peace Award to the late Seán McBride. I hope that they will be able to renew acquaintances in their heavenly home. The other great association was with The Irish House, which was run so well by Noel and Alice. How we have all missed The Irish House over the years and the warmth of welcome from them both. Not to mention the many innovative ventures that happened there. He was a real gentleman and the Tipperary community is so much poorer for his passing. Deepest sympathy to his wife Alice, children Louise, Terry and Patrick, grandchildren, sister, sister in law, brother in law, daughter in law, nephews, nieces and extended family members.
